I have a special interest in the sociological, political genesis, and implications of racism, and the impact of this on society and individuals. This understanding and interest is a constant and significant feature of my counselling practice and my everyday life. An awareness of my own unconscious bias in relation to race and other equality issues, and the implications of my upbringing and socialisation is an essential part of my ethical practice.

I can provide a safe space for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic clients to explore personal issues, in a therapeutic environment which acknowledges the context of systemic racism.
